GameTimez collects personal information such as name, email, and Google Calendar access via Google OAuth for service functionality. We also collect usage data, including IP addresses, browser type, and interaction with our services for improving user experience and service reliability.

2. Use of Information

We use collected information to provide and maintain our services, sync sports schedules to your calendar, provide customer support, send service updates and administrative messages, and improve and optimize our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws. Account information is retained while your account remains active. Calendar sync data is retained for up to 30 days after sync for backup purposes, while usage logs are kept for 90 days for security and performance analysis. Payment information is retained as required by tax laws and financial regulations, and support communications are maintained for up to 2 years. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it using industry-standard methods. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@gametimez.com, and we will process your request within 30 days, subject to legal requirements and technical limitations.

4. Your Data Rights

You have the right to access your personal data, correct any inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and data, and export your data in a structured format. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@gametimez.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days. For users in the European Union or California, additional rights may apply under GDPR or CCPA respectively.

5. Third-Party Services

GameTimez uses Google OAuth for authentication and Calendar API for syncing schedules, as well as sports data providers for game schedules and information. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties. Each service provider is required to handle your data securely and only for the intended purpose.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including secure authentication and encrypted data transmission. However, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security.

7. Cookies

GameTimez uses only essential cookies necessary for authentication and basic site functionality. We may use basic analytics to improve our service, but we minimize data collection and anonymize where possible.

8. Children's Privacy

GameTimez requires users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such data, it will be deleted promptly. Parents or guardians who believe we may have collected data from their child under 13 should contact privacy@gametimez.com.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

GameTimez may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email or service notification. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
